College football betting is the best way to get closer to the action on the field!

College Football Betting Guide
Regardless of your college football knowledge or betting experience, it’s easy to jump into the action. Here are the most common types of bets:
College Football Spreads
What’s the margin of victory in a game?
For example: If you bet on Alabama -6.5 against Texas A&M, the Crimson Tide must win the game by at least seven points. Alternatively, if you bet on Texas A&M +6.5, the Aggies must lose by fewer than six points (or win the game).
Each spread includes odds to determine the potential payout. The odds for Alabama -6.5 might be -110, meaning a $10 bet would pay $19.09 (including stake).
College Football Moneylines
Which team will win the game?
For example: If you bet the Oregon moneyline (-250) against Arizona, the Ducks must win the game for the bet to win. The margin of victory is irrelevant.
If Oregon wins, the payout on a $50 bet with -250 odds is $70 (including stake).
College Football Over/Under Totals
How many total points will be scored in the game?
For example: If you bet over 55.5 in a Kansas-Cincinnati game, the Jayhawks and Bearcats must combine to score at least 56 points.
Like a spread bet, each side (over or under) of an over/under total bet includes odds. The odds for over 55.5 might be -115, meaning a $25 bet would pay $46.74 (including stake).
College Football Prop Bets
Player and team prop bets are available at BetMGM.
Will Drake Maye throw for at least 280 yards against Clemson? Will Ohio State score at least four touchdowns against Michigan? Will Michael Penix Jr. have at least three passing touchdowns against Colorado?
Like spreads and over/under totals, each side of a prop bet includes odds. The odds for over 279.5 Drake Maye passing yards might be -110, meaning a $100 bet would pay $190.91 (including stake).
Live College Football Betting
Live betting is the best way to get closer to the action on the field.
With up-to-the-second live college football betting odds for postseason games, you can place live bets from kickoff through the final minutes.
While you’re watching Caleb Williams and USC chase a playoff berth, Ryan Day and Ohio State chase Big Ten East redemption, and James Franklin and Penn State look for a breakthrough season, there are live betting opportunities for all games.
College Football Parlays
Like live betting, college football parlays allow bettors to add more excitement to each game of the season.
Using a variety of odds for dozens of games each week, you can build parlays from spreads, moneylines, over/under totals, and more. Select the odds from one game, two games, or even multiple sports and leagues, add to your betting slip, and see the potential payout increase!
Here’s one example of a parlay:
- Michigan: Moneyline -200
- Penn State: Spread -7.5 (-110)
- Arizona: Moneyline +125
If all three legs hit, the payout would be $322.16 (including stake) on a $50 bet.
