Baseball Odds at BetMGM

loading helper

Baseball odds are available year-round at the BetMGM online sportsbook, including game spreads, offseason futures markets, Toronto Blue Jays World Series odds, player props, and more.

Baseball Spreads

Also known as the run line, baseball spreads are a way to handicap the favourite.

The favoured team will be priced at -1.5, meaning they must win by two runs or more to “cover” the run line.

At +1.5, a bet backing the underdog pays out if they win the game or lose by a single run.

For example, if the New York Yankees are -1.5 against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Yankees must win by two runs or more for the bet to pay out. A wager backing the Dodgers at +1.5 means the wager cashes if Los Angeles loses by one run or fewer or wins outright.

Baseball Moneylines

The moneyline is a wager on a team to win the game, including any extra innings.

A favourite for a baseball game will have shorter moneyline odds. The odds dictate the potential payouts if the team wins the game.

If the Detroit Tigers are -160 to beat the Seattle Mariners, a $10 wager would return $16.25. In this example, the Mariners could be priced at +145, meaning a return of $24.50 on a $10 bet.

Baseball Totals

Baseball totals are a bet on the number of runs scored in a game. A line is set by the sportsbook, and bettors will then wager on whether there is over or under that number of runs.

If the New York Mets are playing the Philadelphia Phillies and the line is set at 8.5, a bet on the under would require the teams to combine for eight or fewer runs. A wager on the over would win if the teams scored nine or more runs.

Baseball Prop Bets

Baseball player props include pitcher strikeouts, earned runs, total bases, home runs, and more.

Whether there will be a run in the first inning is a common baseball prop bet. This is a simple yes/no wager on whether either team will score in the first frame. BetMGM has NRFI (no runs first inning) odds and YRFI (yes run first inning) odds available, along with various other team props.

Baseball Parlays

Building a baseball parlay involves combining more than one pick into a single wager. These bets have the potential for high odds and allow bettors to mix and match bets from different games.

You may like the over between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals while wanting to back the Pittsburgh Pirates and Atlanta Braves to win their respective games. You could put all three of these selections into one bet.

A parlay requires all the selections to win for the bet to succeed.

Baseball Live Betting

Bet in-game at the BetMGM live sports betting pages.

Live baseball betting markets are updated consistently from the start of the first inning through the final out. A range of betting options are available to wager on in-play, including which team will score the next run.

Baseball Futures Betting

Baseball futures betting covers all the bases. The World Series winner markets are available every month of the year, while you can also bet on Cy Young and the regular season Most Valuable Player.

As the postseason approaches, odds are available for World Series MVP.

Markets for Rookie of the Year, division winners, and more will feature, too.
